Marjorie “Midge” Berrig, 86, passed away in Neenah, Wisconsin on January 18, 2026. She was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on October 1, 1939, to Elwin R.D. Sr. and Dorothy (Clark) Elsworth.
She married David A. Berrig on May 4, 1957, in Oshkosh, WI and together they had 4 daughters. Midge worked at Hoffmaster for 37 years until her retirement. She loved doing cross-stitch, word searches and enjoying a good old-fashioned. She often went to the cabin up north and in her younger years and traveled a lot to Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee as well as going on casino trips with friends and family.
Midge is survived by her daughters, Patricia Owen, Peggy McHugh, Paula Qualley and Pamela (Doug) Van Ryzin; grandchildren, Heather, Holly, Stacy, Samantha, Shannon, Megan, Carmen, Caitlen, Gena, Jennifer and Craig; and many great-grandchildren; best friends, Vicky and Ceil; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, David Berrig; special friend, Jack; parents, Elwin and Dorothy; sister, Patricia Nichols; brother, Elwin Elsworth Jr.; grandson, Joshua; and son-in-law, Sam McHugh.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held.
