Mark Steven Musial, age 77, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Appleton, WI. He was born on May 20, 1948, to parents, Michael Musial Sr. and Dorothy (Pilger) Musial, in Manitowoc, WI.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and then went on to Spencerian Business College. Mark also proudly served in the United States Army in Korea in the Vietnam War.
On January 28, 1983, he married the love of his life, Paula Strutz in Oshkosh, WI.
Mark enjoyed working in the financial trading industry and as a marketing consultant. He owned and operated Musial Painting- doing interior and exterior painting until he was unable to due to health reasons.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching Formula 1 race cars, baseball and spending time with his family. He also had a love for horses and all animals.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Musial; son, Graham Musial; stepson, Grant Galica; grandchildren, Gwendlyn, Aiden and Henry; brother, David Musial; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Michael Sr. and Dorothy; infant daughter, Lucy; and his brother, Michael “Mike” Jr.
A celebration of life is being planned for Spring 2026. More information will be added at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oshkosh Humane Society or to the Oshkosh North Baseball Team in his honor.
The family would like to thank Moments Hospice and the staff at Meadowbrook for all of their care and compassion during this difficult time.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
