Mary M. Spanbauer, (nee' Keipe), age 65, passed away peacefully Friday October 4, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. Mary was born March 16, 1948, to the late Lloyd L. and Shirley (Weiske) Keipe. Mary was raised and educated in Green Lake. She married Thomas L. Spanbauer on August 27, 1976; they took up residency in Oshkosh. Mary worked as a bartender for many years, slinging drinks, and telling jokes at Hoagies, The Jockey Club, and Parnell's Place. She became the Senior Dining Center Manager in Wild Rose, for the Waushara County Department of the Aging.
Mary's hobbies included her love for poodles, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchild. Mary also enjoyed camping, reading a good book, word searches, playing bingo, cards, and spending time with her friends. Mary enjoyed life and loved to laugh.
Mary is survived by her husband Tom, daughters; Shelly Farvour, her children; Jack III and Juliana Farvour, Tracy (Josh) Haehl, their children; Gavin and Carter Haehl. Brother, Michael L. Keipe, son in law Jack Farvour, and great grandson Keaton Farvour. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Keaton Haehl, and many wonderful family members.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Andrasko, Dr. Gremminger, the staff of nurses on unit #2, and ICU, also the Doctors at Mercy Medical Center for their kindness and care.
