Obituary
Michael "Mike" Joseph Branham, age 59, passed away after a brave battle with Cancer on September 4, 2025, in Oshkosh, WI. He was born on an Air Force base in Germany as a dual citizen to parents, Given Houston and Linda Gayle (Guenther) Branham, on January 3, 1966. He was raised mostly in vigorous military installations and cities after they moved back to the states.
In his twenties and thirties, he played guitar in several bands- his favorite being the Mayhem Band, who opened for such artists as White Snake. After settling down, he started a family and raised two sons. He worked for RIE Coating, Baldor Generators, Bent Tubes and most recently, Front Row Trucks.
Aside from playing and listening to "hairband" music, he had a strong interest in computers, and building and driving RC racing and model cars. He was very social and loved to grill, watch "B" rated horror movies, mystery shows and Godzilla. He will be remembered for his strength, sense of humor and ability to bring a lot of joy to all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Nikita) Branham Jr. and Dillon (Briana) Branham; grandchildren, Shelbi, Phineas, Harper and Naomi; sister, Beckie (Paul) Hinkhouse; brother, Mark Branham; best friend of many years, Brian Atwell; as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Given and Linda Branham.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank roommate, Rae Nickols and Compassus Hospice for all of their care and support along the way.
Mike would always say goodbye in his own way- "Have a good one, Killer!" Make the most of every day.
