Obituary
Michael "Mike" R. Houda, 60, passed away in Oshkosh, WI on Aug 13, 2025. He was born on November 25, 1964, to Frank R. Houda and Judith Ann (Ritter) Duggan.
Michael graduated from Oshkosh North High School and went on to create a small business where his services included fixing bicycles & electronics and reselling used items. Although Mike loved to fix things, his biggest passion was the weather. He studied and passed the test to become an official weather spotter. He loved to text family members detailed daily weather reports for wherever they happened to be that day. His family liked to think that the daily weather reports were his love language. He also enjoyed making and recording music with his best friend Chuck.
He is survived by his sister, Teresa Kajian (Mehrdad Kajian); niece, Haley Raine Parker; and nephew, Dakota Matthew Parker. Michael is preceded by his parents, Frank and Judith; and his grandparents.
A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Church in Wonder Lake, IL on Saturday Sep 13, 2025, at 10:00 am.
