Obituary

Mildred I. Malnory, age 85 of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at Park View Health Center. She was born in Iola, Wisconsin on December 10, 1923 the daughter of Isaac and Matilda Nelson. Millie married Berton Malnory in Tacoma, Washington on February 11, 1944. She was employed and retired at Oshkosh B'Gosh for many years. She was a member of Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church. Millie enjoyed dancing, baking, and playing cards with friends. She is survived by one son; Hal (Lisa) Malnory of Pine River, two grandchildren; Tammy (Carl) Doemel and Todd Malnory, two great-grandchildren; Jordan and Laura Doemel, three brothers; Lavern Nelson of New London, George (Dorothy) Nelson of Manawa, Emery (Betty) Nelson of Oshkosh, one sister; Ila (Jim) Peterson of Manawa, very special friend and companion Bill Born of Oshkosh, Michael and Cris Born of Fond du Lac, Eric, Renee, Nate and Katlyn Born of Winchester, Glenn and Caroline Born of Ft. Worth, Texas, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Millie will be held on Friday July 17, 2009 at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Nathan Ericson officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Millie's name. We hope to help others fighting cancer and help find a cure. We would like to send a special thank you to Park View Health Center for the tremendous care they have given our mother, and a heartfelt thanks to Pat Buffington and Raissa Reimer, a.m. shift: Annie, Renna, Kate, Melissa, Carrie, and Maria, p.m. shift: Sue, Barb, Dawn, Tara and Bethany, night shift: Liz, Lynn, Jodi and Mailynn and to everyone at Park View who has helped Millie through the years. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
