Patricia C. Sagmeister, age 88, of Oshkosh, left her pain and suffering of this world behind to be with her Creator on Friday, May 5, 2017. "Aunt Pat" lived 65 years at Pummers Point on Lake Butte Des Morts. She loved living there and had many stories to tell about her two brothers and herself, growing up on the lake. Patricia worked 34 ½ years at Winnebago Mental Health Institute; they were lucky to have such a dedicated worker. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Otto and Lillian (Spiegelberg) Sagmeister; brothers: Richard and Earl; sister-in-law, Bette; infant great-nephew, Jason Sagmeister; nephew, Scott Sagmeister; and great-nephew, Chez Sagmeister. Surviving Pat are her brother Richard's children: Dickie, Sharon, Randy, Nancy, Steve and Tracy, and their families; her brother Earl's wife, Joan Sagmeister, and children: Cindy, Diane and Jackie, and their families; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Pat loved to travel, but especially enjoyed being behind the wheel on long distance car trips. She was extremely independent and no one ever made a decision for her. She went out on her own terms, and wanted a private family gathering following her cremation. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. A life-long member of Martin Luther Church, Pat was a child of God.
