Philip "Skip" E. Boos, of Neenah, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was born in Rochelle, IL on December 29, 1947, the son of the late Philip and Ruth (Felvey) Boos. In 1953 his family moved to Fond du Lac and he graduated from Goodrich High School in 1966. That same year he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as an M.I. Coordinator during the Tet Offensive in Viet Nam during 1968. On September 2, 1972 he married Ruth Schabach in Chilton. Philip is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, William (fiancée, Stacy Holmes) Boos; brother, Ed Boos; mother-in-law, Ruth Schabach; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Rick Lindau; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bosco. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Eugene Schabach; and sister-in-law, Mary Boos. The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
