Philip J. Lammeman, age 76, of Larsen, died peacefully Tuesday morning, April 5, 2011 at Park View Health Center in Oshkosh. Phil was born September 14, 1934 in Neenah, the son of Raymond and Luetta (Harper) Lammeman. He grew up in the Larsen area and had attended Winneconne Schools. Phil was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War. Phil grew up on the family farm and enjoyed the animals and working with his parents. He enjoyed gardening, football, and watching golf on TV. Phil was a big kid at heart. He was great with kids, always had time for them and they enjoyed spending time with him as well. Phil had worked for 36 years as a fuel truck driver for Levenhagen Oil Company in Neenah. He was a people person who enjoyed people and was well liked and respected by many.
Phil is loved and will be missed by his wife of 31 years, Alyce (Fink) Lammeman; children, Kurt (Gretchen) Lammeman, Luanne (George) Leishman, Phyllis Finch, Dennis (Lori) Knight, Alexandra Lammeman; sisters, Nancy (Jake) Stoez, Naomi Hinz, Mary (Wayne) Boss; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many grand pets; other relatives and many friends. Phil was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:30 P.M. with Rev. Allen E. Krause officiating. A memorial in Phil's name is being established.
