Phyllis J. Neubauer, 88, of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday November 15, 2025 at Aurora BayCare.
Phyllis was born July 11, 1937, in Shiocton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Julius and Mabel (Thayer) Schoerning. She married Virgil Neubauer on August 31, 1957, in New London, Wisconsin. After she married Virgil, they moved to Oshkosh. She worked for many years at Morgan Doors of Oshkosh. After retiring, she helped Virgil with the Farmer's Market in Oshkosh, Phyllis also loved her flowers and plants in her yard. Her passion was playing Bingo; she would go several times a week.
Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Tina Neubauer of Oshkosh and Lisa (Robert) Ross of Greenville; son, Todd Neubauer of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Callie (Jeroen) Schouten, of Janesville, Hunter Hamm of Oshkosh; great-grandchildren, Pim and Nash Schouten of Janesville; sisters and brother, Peggy Schoerning, Barb (Joe) Recker, Linda Marcks, Julius (Kay) Schoerning, Mary Mieczynski, Patrcia Eisch and Jane Schoerning; many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded by her husband of 57 years, Virgil Neubauer; sisters, Frances (Jim) Dye, Shirley Kramer; brothers, Louis Schoerning, Ronald Schoerning and two infant sisters, Janet and Jill.
As per Phyllis' wishes, there will be no formal services.
The family would like to thank all of the friends at Bingo that always kept her entertained; to Ronda Scovronski for all the rides to bingo over the years. I would like to thank her neighbor, Kris Zacher and her mother, Debbie, for all the days they spent with my mom before and during this time, I am truly grateful that they were there for my mom. Also, to the great staff at Aurora BayCare of Green Bay.
