Raymond “Ray” Rennert Sr., age 84, passed away on September 15, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. He was born on May 29, 1942, to parents, Laverne and Marcella (nee Lew) Rennert, in Oshkosh, WI. Ray was one of 12 children.

He attended Oshkosh High School. On March 26, 1966, he married the love of his life, Mary Wilson, in Oshkosh, WI. Together, they raised two children, Raymond Jr. and Victoria.

Ray worked as a furniture maker at Badger Lumber for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards, tinkering on cars and watching the Green Bay Packer football team play.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Rennert; children, Ray (Barbara) Rennert Jr. and Victoria (Jeff) LeBouton; grandchildren, Ryan (Desiree) Mueller, Mackenzie (Ethan) Smith, Andrea (Christian) Harwell, Allie (Kyler) Parkman, Emily Rennert, Chase Rennert and Bethany Rennert; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Rayna Harwell, Asher, Titus and Thaddeus Smith. He is further survived by his siblings, Laverne Jr., Betty, Nancy, Jane, Carol, Donna, Bobby, Sally and David; and many cousins, nieces, nephews additional family members and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Laverne and Marcella Rennert; brothers, Ralph Rennert and James Rennert; and parents-in-law, Ken and Betty Wilson.

A private family internment will take place at a future date.
