Becky Hazen, age 59, passed away peacefully on August 16th, after a courageous battle with stage 4 renal cancer.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her sense of humor, and the simple joys she cherished in life. She loved playing cards and games with her family, spending time on bingo nights with her friends, and sharing her days with her beloved dog, Mocha.
Her greatest calling was caring for others. As a dedicated CNA, she took pride in her work and touched many lives through her compassion, patience, and selflessness.
She is survived by her daughter, Britney Wyant; her son, Brandon Field; three grandchildren, Parker Field, Charlie Stahl and Olivia Stahl; her son-in-law, Tommy Stahl; her daughter-in-law, Leah Field; her brother, Bernie Mueller; and her partner, Scott Tobey.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Deanna Hazen, whom she now joins in eternal rest.
Her warmth, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
There will be a private celebration of life to be announced at a later date for friends and family.
A special thanks to the amazing staff and sisters at Franciscan Courts, as well as the compassionate nurses and doctors at Aurora Medical Center for their care and support.
