Reighlee Stevenson was called home August 8, 2014. On May 21, 2002, at Wausau Hospital, Kristi Colley (Henckel) andMichael Stevenson were blessed with the gift of being her parents.
Reighlee had a soul like no other. She found the beauty and goodness in everyone. Reighlee loved animals, especially her dog, Lambeau. She always had a way to bond with little kids and had a very special bond with Harmonee and Makayla Payne, Milwaukee.
In addition to her parents, Reighlee is survived by her grandmothers, Carol Kametler, Oshkosh, Sabine Henckel, Rhinelander, and Josephine Stevenson, Hawkins, TX; her siblings, Nyimma Colley, Oshkosh, Lee-Anna Ellis, Duluth, MN, Travion and Olivia Stevenson, Appleton, and Davontay Stevenson, Longview TX, her step-brothers Ousainou and Abdou Colley, Oshkosh; her uncles, John (Robyne) Smith, Manawa, Brett (Melanie) Henckel, Summit Lake, Leslie(Beth) Stevenson, Merrill, Mitchell (Katherine) Stevenson, Rochester, MN, Neshae (Tommy) Davis, Tyler, TX, Charles Stevenson, Hawkins, TX, special Aunt and Uncle, Jack (Sara) Rosenberg; her niece, Sophia Klaas, Duluth, MN; her Godmother, Nikki Huettl, Wausau; special friend, Jennifer Hopp, Oshkosh, and many cousins and extended family.
Reighlee was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Frederick Henckel, Leslie Stevenson, and John Kametler as well as her Aunt Allison Head.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Peace Lutheran Church, 240 W. 9th Ave., Oshkosh, from 10 a.m. until 12:45 P.M. The funeral service will follow at 1pm with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating.
The family would like to thank the Marathon County Sherriff's department, EMTs, and Medical Examiner, the good Samaritans that helped, The Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin, and Perry Tippler Middle School staff. As well as a special thank you to Caprice Swanks, Oshkosh for being such a good friend and a rock helping friends and victims during their time of need.
