Richard J. Paffenroth, age 58, died December 24, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Rick was born in Oshkosh on May 5, 1955, the son of Richard and Cleo Paffenroth. Rick was a very gregarious person who possessed a great sense of humor. He also enjoyed the summers spent at Joe and Selma's farm. Rick worked as a night auditor at various local motels/hotels until health issues made it necessary to stop working.
Rick is survived by his brother Russell of Oshkosh, Uncle Alvin Pfaffenroth of Oshkosh, and cousins. Rick is further survived by many special friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Rick's wishes no formal services will be held memorials may be sent to the Oshkosh Humane Society, 1925 Shelter Court, Oshkosh, WI.
