Robert G. Alcorn Sr., age 75 of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday January 16, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born in Alton Missouri on January 11,1935 , the son of the late Lilburn and Helen (Simpson) Alcorn. Robert was Past President of the Home Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in 1979, Past Master of the Lambskin Masonic Lodge #460 in 1986, Moolah Temple Guides Unit President in 1999, was a member of the Scottish Rites of St. Louis, Missouri and member of the Winnebago Shrine Club. Robert is survived by one daughter, Kim (Roger) Hill, one son, Robby Alcorn, grandchildren, Roger Hill Jr., Kris Hill, Jodie Hill, great-granddaughters, Haley and Jenna Hill, one sister Kathleen (Dan) Tinnell, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Alcorn, parents and one brother Billy Alcorn. Thanks to Dr. Diana Turner for the amazing care of our father and grandfather. A Memorial Service for Robert will be held on Friday January 22, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Fox Cities Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday from 5:30 p.m. until time of services.
