Robert D. Black Jr., age 57, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday afternoon July 31, 2010, at his home. He was born on January 14, 1953 in Fort Reilly Kansas, the son of Wilma and Robert Black. His family relocated to Illinois where he spent most of his years there, until he moved to Wisconsin. Bob was in the United States Army for four years in Germany. He worked at Oshkosh Truck for many years. Bob was a very hard working man who had a great work ethic. He took a lot of pride in his job and loved every minute that he had worked there. Bob loved racing, every time a Nascar race was on, he was right in front of the television watching whatever race was on. He also had a 2006 Ford Mustang that was his baby. Every weekend, he would just drive wherever he wanted with the top down and had no worries of any kind. Bob is survived by his one son and two daughters; Zeb Black of Bloomington, Illinois, Jessie Stenerson of Oshkosh and Jennifer Tolly of Mt. Zion, Illinois, mother Wilma Black of Bethany, Illinois, sister Malinda Dicken of Bethany, Illinois, aunt Jean Edmond, cousin, Mike Crane of Oklahoma, five nephews and three nieces. In lieu of a traditional funeral, the family will be scattering Bob's ashes on Blackjack Mountain, Oklahoma, where the wild mustangs run free. The family gives a special thanks to Oshkosh Truck and all his fellow co-workers, to all the nurses at Aurora Medical Center, and everyone at Theda Care at Home Hospice.
