Obituary
Robert A. Van Handel, 48, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2023 in Berlin, WI. He was born on March 13, 1975 in Appleton, WI to Patricia (Kolb) and Richard Van Handel.
Rob loved to go fishing, play cornhole, snowmobile, ski, and go camping. He was an avid dumpster diver and was considered by many to be incredibly resourceful. He will be remembered for his friendliness and being an all-around good guy. He was also a part of Tony's Bar while that was open in Oshkosh, WI.
He is survived by his son, Chris Gilbertson; father, Richard Van Handel; sister, Jennifer Van Handel; nephew, Tremayne Newell, as well as other family and many friends.
Preceding him in death, his mother, Patricia Van Handel.
