Robert "Bob" T. Kiefer, age 71, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. He was born in Neenah on August 4, 1946 the son of the late Robert C. and Mildred (Brogden) Kiefer. On November 4, 1967 he married Joan Hegner and was a loving husband for 50 years. Bob was proud to serve in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967. He was known to be a good carpenter and volunteer at the senior center, but really liked working at Hot Dog Charlies on Church Ave. in downtown Oshkosh.

Bob is survived by his wife, Joan; sons: Leon Charles (Tracy) Kiefer and Robert "Beef" Kiefer; granddaughter: Tamara (Antonio) Rayson; great-grandson, Tavion; sisters: Maxine Kiefer, Shirley Kiefer, and Peggy Cancell; brothers: Russell Kiefer and Randy Kiefer. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Richard Kiefer.

A celebration of life will be on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 and Thursday, May 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on both days at Hot Dog Charlies, 9 Church St., Oshkosh. All proceeds will go to Bob's memorial fund.

The family extends a special thank you to the Oshkosh Fire Department and EMTs who took wonderful care of Bob.
