Robert Lewis Mulvey, age 90, of Butte Des Morts, passed away peacefully at home holding the hand of his daughter, Mary, on Saturday, December 31, 2016. He was born in New London on July, 26, 1926, the son of the late Lloyd and Mabel (Theede) Mulvey. Bob was proud to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict, earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Bob will be remembered for his many jokes and stories, and love for his grandchildren. Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maggie; his four boys: Robert (Brenda) Mulvey, Ron (Sherri) Mulvey, Dan Mulvey and Ken Mulvey; daughter, Mary (Jeff Gilbert) Pederson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Barnett in 1978; and step-son, Joe Pederson.Burial with military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh. The family extends a special thank you to Nicole at Affinity Hospice for taking special care of Bob and Maggie. Further, thank you to Bob's grandsons, Jeremy and Justin, who took care of their grandpa.R.I.P. This is not good bye till we all see you again one day.
