Roberta "Bobbie" L. Brooks, born April 4, 1959, fought a battle against lung cancer for over a year and passed peacefully at home on May 30, 2011, with her two sons by her side- Michael Reed, 30 and Taylor Reed, 25. She is also survived by four grandchildren-Matthew 7, Kaylee 5, Madalynn 5 and Myles 3.

Bobbie was a loving and caring person. She had unconditional love for those around her and always gave even when she had nothing to give. The life of the party and a jokester, Bobbie could make anyone laugh or smile. Love for the outdoors, gardening and planting was a passion of hers. Bobbie will be remembered most for the love that she had for her grandchildren; they were her world.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M. A memorial in her name is being established.
