Robin A. Gaines was born on the 14
th
of July 1965, in Danville (Boyle) Kentucky to Robert N. Gaines and Rebecca L. (Miracle) Phillips. Surrounded by the love being returned to her that she gave out to those she cared deeply for on the 4
th
of November 2024. She passed peacefully in her room at Zilber Family Hospice, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
Robin worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and in the Cardiac Unit at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She attended Nursing School up until she fell ill.
Robins' favorite pastime was one of simple times, spending time with those she cared about. Not caring if it was just coffee doing crochet, boating, gardening, playing piano, listening to music, watching ghost shows, watching the discovery channel and chatting or just sitting in the quiet enjoying each other's company. In her younger years, she enjoyed going fishing. Whenever she cooked it was for an Army, but you knew every drop was made with love as you scooped up a bowl and went on with your day.
She is survived by her life partner, Robert S. Brandt; her two beautiful daughters, Veronica (Steven) Derby and Morgan (Ezekiel) Stephenson; along with her bonus son, Brandon (Samantha) Brandt. Her beautiful grandchildren, Elaina, Dexter and Kyrie, who will miss her dearly. She is further survived by her sister, Rhonda Munoz, Cindy (Miracle) Kruse and Lisa; brother, Todd Miracle; and close friend, Louise Longrie. So many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews will help have her memory live on.
She was proceeded in death by both of her parents; her paternal grandparents, who helped raise her when her father's limitation restricted him, and her good friend, Debbie.
Per her wishes, no formal service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Zilber Family Hospice in her honor.
The family would like to thank the staff at Zilber for all of their kindness and care during Robins' journey.
