Ronald W. Koenig, age 76, passed away on February 1, 2016. Ron was born in Milwaukee, WI, on June 27, 1939, to the late Walter and LaVerne (Selzer) Koenig. He married Nancy (LaBonte) Koenig in 1962. She passed away suddenly in 1994. Ron loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating and building model RC model airplanes. He was a self taught man who worked on cars, built his house, and a boat named the Nancy Lee for his wife. He enjoyed spending countless hours in the garage with his son building and fixing the race car, so they could be at the track on Saturday nights racing.He is survived by his four children: Eric, Adam, Aimee, and Ronald (Lisa) Koenig, grandchildren: Elizibeth and Elijah Koenig, and other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and wife. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, February 12, 2016, at La Belle Cemetery, 700 E. Grove St., Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.A celebration of Ron's life will be held starting at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Madell's Lanes, N4319 State Road 49, Poy Sippi, Wisconsin, 54967.In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Ron's name is being established.
