Ronald "Crash" Meyers, age 71, of Oshkosh, died February 28, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. Ron was born in Oshkosh on July 25, 1941, the son of the late Gerald and Mildred Meyers. Ron married Joyce A. Helsinger on July 28, 1962; she preceded him in death on December 13, 2010. Ron worked for Pluswood for 45 years starting his career as a fork lift driver and finishing as a supervisor of shipping and receiving. Ron also owned Crash's Inn for 15 years where it was always PARTY TIME!
Ron is survived by his brothers; Carroll (Kaye) Meyers of Schwartz Creek MI, Jerry(Marlene) Meyers of Milwaukee, and Roger (Barbara) Meyers of Omro, his children; Terri(Todd) Hyler of Oshkosh, Mike(Karen) Meyers of Oshkosh, and Tim (Glenna) Meyers of Oshkosh. Ron is further survived by ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron will also be missed by his German Shepard- Drake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2013 at 4:00PM at Fox Cities Funeral & Cremation Services, 3026 Jackson St. Oshkosh, until the time of the memorial service at 6:00P.M. with Chaplain Vicki Marxen officiating.
