Ronald "Ronnie" E. Peerenboom, age 65, of Oshkosh, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He was born in Oshkosh on December 2, 1949, the son of Harold and LaVerne (Leverance) Peerenboom. Ronnie was proud to serve in and retire from the National Guard after 20 years. He worked for Pomps Tire until retirement. Ronnie loved to hunt, fish and spend time up north at the cabin. Ronnie will be remembered for being a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Minks; grandchildren: Henry and Robyn; mother, LaVerne; siblings: Duane (Gloria), Harold, and Jeff Peerenboom, Cathy Wilderman and Tracie (Dave) Murphy; extended family: Kelly's Mom, Barb (Bryan), Ken and Tammy and their family, Michael, and Virginia; 13 nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold.A visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015, followed by military honors, all at the funeral home. The family extends a special thank you to St. Elizabeth Hospital and Mercy Medical Center for their wonderful care.
