Ronald E. Whalen, 72, passed away on December 24, 2022. He was born on June 14, 1950 to Dorothy E. (Heinrich) and Robert F. Whalen in Milwaukee, WI.

Ron loved to watch sports, compete in trivia, shoot pool, and play cribbage and chess. He was a competitive player who was also kind, generous and loving. He had a wonderful sense of humor, helped anyone he could in any way that he could, and loved to spend time with his family and friends. Ron retired from Potawatomi Casino where he worked in maintenance.

Ron is survived by his siblings, Doreen Whalen, Debra Mosconi (Whalen), Susan Whalen, Kim Vandenberg (Whalen), Barbara Whalen, and Robert (Kim) Whalen. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other friends and family; as well as good friends, Brenda Stieg and Tom Bollom.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

A celebration of life and benefit will be held at Twisted Roots Bar, 693 Main Street, Oshkosh, WI on Saturday, February 4, 2023 beginning at 1pm.
