Roy O. Capps, age 72 of Oshkosh, passed away on April 29, 2011 at Lakeshore Manor, Oshkosh, WI. Roy was born on December 6, 1939 in San Diego, CA, the son of May (Jackson) and Omer W. Capps. On August 6, 1957 he was married to Jet Reno. Roy was a determined man. In 1983 he was the first person in Wisconsin history to obtain a pilots license with impaired vision. Roy was a dedicated worker; he owned Ultraclean Maintenance Service for over 40 years, and was always a hard worker. Along with being dedicated to his work, Roy was devoted to his family. He loved his wife daughters and grandchildren dearly. For his enjoyment Roy liked to play pool and was a member of a horseshoe league.

He was preceded in death by his parents, May and Omer Capps. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jet Capps; his daughters, Elizabeth Hackett, of Florida and Stephanie Capps of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Zachary (Dayana) Capps, Jessica Boushele, Jennifer Hackett, Alicia Moder, Emily Summers, and Morgan VanHandel; his great-grandchildren, Sebastion, Devin, Mason, McKenna, and Mia. He will also be missed by his surviving siblings, Pat (Karl) Schulz, of Oshkosh, Paul (Joan) Capps, Bill (Sue) Capps, all of San Diego, CA, and his best friend, Richard "Big 'R'" (Marlene) Malchow.

We invite you to celebrate Roy's life with a gathering of friends and family sharing stories, laughter, and love at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation, 3026 Jackson St., Oshkosh, WI, on Wednesday May 4, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
