Russell Gene Gauerke passed away peacefully May14, 2020 in his home in Oshkosh, WI. He was born November 20, 1972 in Appleton, WI to William and Grace Gauerke. He went to Appleton East High School. He married Sue Winter August 4, 2017 in Oshkosh, WI after dating for eight years. He worked in construction for 15 years which he enjoyed. In the past eight years he had been working as a forklift driver for N&M Transfer.

Russ enjoyed being outdoors, hanging out with friends, projects with his son Isaac and listening to music (KISS was his favorite).

He is survived by his wife, Sue Gauerke; son Isaac Gauerke; stepsons, Tyler Farley, Cody (Leah) Farley, Evan Farley; grandson, Finnley Farley; and grandson, Cooper Farley all of Oshkosh, WI; parents, William & Grace Gauerke of Appleton, WI; sister, Barbara Gossens (Norb) of New London, WI; brothers, Steve Gauerke (Sharon) of Menasha, WI, David Gauerke of Appleton, WI, Ronald Gauerke (Debbie) of Milwaukee, WI; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by nephews, Jonathan, Jacob, Jeremy; niece, Carrie; sisters, Debbie and Diane Gauerke; and great-nephew, Noah Gietman.

It was Russ's wish to not have a funeral service.

We will be having a memorial for him to be announced at a later date.
