Scott "Scooter" C. Wiesender, age 73, passed away on November 5, 2024, in Appleton, Wisconsin. He was born on April 11, 1951 to parents, Arthur "Art" and Ira (Opik) Wiesender, in Wisconsin.
Scooter went to high school in Berlin, Wisconsin. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. While he served for over 12 years, he was able to learn several languages. He then went to work in the security field until retirement.
In 1986, he met and married the love of his life, Janet Holdren. Together they spent over 38 wonderful years together.
Scooter enjoyed carving wood, especially birds and figures and was a member of the Midwest Chippers club. For over 40 years he was an avid member of the DAV- Disabled American Veterans Chapter of Winnebago County Chapter #17. In his spare time, he loved watching the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers play and cooked many meals for his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, loving heart and funny Dad jokes.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Wiesender; daughter, Kim (Shane) Boom; grandson, Parker; brother, James (Trish) Wiesender; nephew, Adam; niece, Megan; neighbors, Jim (Cindy) and Fran Schneider; along with other family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Arthur "Art" and Ira (Opik) Wiesender.
Per his wishes, no formal service will be held.
