In Loving Memory of Sheryl Scott
Sheryl Scott was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Even in the hardest of times, especially during her hospital stay, she never let go of her kindness or her optimism. She had a rare gift—the ability to lift others up no matter what she was going through herself.
Her passion for helping people was woven into everything she did. Whether you were family or a friend—or even just someone in need—Sheryl was there. She has always had a passion for sewing beautiful handy crafts. When Christmas time came she always had us help make beautiful rosettes for everyone, a simple but heartfelt symbol of her love and care. It didn't matter if you were close or distant—if you were in her world, you mattered.
Sheryl also had a deep love for her dog, Heidi, who was more than a pet she was a loyal companion and part of the family. Together, they shared quiet moments, joyful days, and an unspoken bond that brought her comfort.
To our family, she was more than an aunt. She was a steady presence, always ready to help, always giving more than she received. Her legacy is one of love, service, and joy in the little things.
We will forever miss her warmth, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel seen and special. But we will carry her spirit with us, and we will remember her always, with every stitch of kindness, every act of generosity, and every time we choose hope over despair.
Rest in peace, Sheryl. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being my rock through hard times and supporting me when no one believed me. I love you so much and I hope you find eternal happiness with your family up there. 🤍🕊
