Shirley J. Buck, age 82, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday evening, May 27, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center. Born on April 13, 1932, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Henry and Elsie (Schmidt) Berndt, Shirley married Warren Buck on April 13, 1953, and Warren precedes Shirley in death.
With her husband, Warren, Shirley owned and operated Buck Moving & Storage, Inc. doing many of the day to day activities necessary in running a business.
Survivors include three children, Stephani (Mark) Spees of Plainfield, Wisconsin, Peter Buck of Oshkosh, and Julia Buck of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Marek, Garth, Samuel, and Hannah; a brother, Grant (Patricia) Berndt of Oshkosh; and nieces and nephews. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings, Merle, Gladys, and Norma.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
