Shirley M. Ott (Stringer) died on Monday, April 16, 2012 at age 98. Shirley was born on April 2, 1914 in Markstay, Ontario, Canada the daughter of Charles and Dora (Weaver) Stringer. Shirley got her RN degree and did hospital work, private care, and industrial nursing. She worked as an industrial nurse at Briggs & Stratton then later changed careers to become a floor inspector and retired at age 62. Shirley is survived by her son John (Rosemaree) Ott, a granddaughter, Stephanie Ott, and and her brother Donald Stringer. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A Memorial Service for relatives and friends of Shirley will be held on May 5, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3343 Omro Road, Oshkosh at 11:00 AM with Brother Matthew Pemble officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Watchtower.
