Stephen "Steve" J. Kowalkowski, age 50, of Winneconne passed away peacefully on June 1, 2012 in his home surrounded by family and friends. Steve was born on April 10, 1962 in Green Bay, WI. On April 10, 2002 Steve married Judy Cole. Together they operated JNS Services, a handyman and cleaning company. Steve enjoyed his pets, fishing, riding his motorcycles, and bonfires.
Steve loved life, and most of all he loved hosting barbecue's for family and friends. His favorite saying was: "The food was great, but the company was better."
Steve is survived by his wife Judy, his children Ben, Stephen Jr., Stanley, and daughter Jenny (Jake) Biggar. Further survived by his four grandchildren and his siblings: Sandi (Nat) Huggins, Sheri (Gene) Chuzels, Nancy (Scott) Johnson, and Deborah (Dennis) Trepanier. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins are also left to mourn Steve's passing.
Steve was preceded in death by his mother Verna, daughter Amanda, and two loyal German Shepherds; Maxine and Maxwell.
