A man who always wanted his children and grandchildren around him. A man who was not afraid to turn a phrase such as "hosen shiza" or "fish monger," and also create words like "pine-a-polis" (pineapple). A man who claimed to have seen the devil in the desert on a cross country trip. A man who knew how to run a trap line and skin a muskrat. A man who loved his sweets, ice cream, chocolates, waffles, Culvers burgers, and sausage pizza. A man who achieved his dream of owning land. He loved his 5 acres, his ponds, his trees, oh the trees! A man who enjoyed the outdoors, photography, aliens, bigfoot, gambling, gold, and guns. A man who, as a tool and die maker, could master measurements down to thousandths of a human hair. He will be so dearly missed.A celebration of his life will be held at their home in Ripon, WI, at a later date.
