Obituary
Timothy G. Kelly age 63, died unexpectedly at his residence on August 7, 2012. He was born in New London, on August 15, 1948, the son of John and Charity (Mulvaney) Kelly. He attended St Joseph's elementary school in Pomona, CA. and moved on to Pomona Catholic Boys High School in La Verne, CA. Along with his family Tim returned to Clintonville in 1965 where he graduated from Clintonville High School in 1967. On the return move Tim brought a skate board with him from California, making him the first kid in Clintonville to have one.
Tim attended UW-La Crosse for one year and then enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon discharge from the service he attended UW-Oshkosh where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business. After graduation Tim embarked on a career in sales. While working in Ohio Tim married Kimberley Carroll they moved to Wisconsin, were the parents of three children and later divorced. Tim was also the proud owner of Green Bay Packer season tickets. His unique sense of humor entertained many and defined his personality.
Left to mourn Tim's passing are the love of his life his partner, Lynn Geiger of Oshkosh, his sons, Sean of Clintonville, and Christopher of Boise, ID; his daughter, Katie (David) Govier of Davenport, IA, and one granddaughter Madeleine Louise Govier. He is further survived by his brothers: Michael (Linda) Kelly, of Ventura, CA, Patrick (Marie) Kelly, of Claremont, CA, and Daniel Kelly, of Brule, WI and his sisters; Peggy (Curry) Koehler, of Cascade, ID, Kathleen Peterson, of Stoddard, WI, Maureen (Thomas) Terich, of Bellingham, WA and sister in-law Janice Gervase Kelly, of Fullerton, CA as well as many nephews and nieces. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother John.
A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Menominee Park, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established by the family, donations may be sent to: Fox Cities Funeral & Cremation Services, 3026 Jackson St. Oshkosh, WI. 54901
