Obituary
Tony Borchert, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2024, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born to parents Darryl Borchert and Peggy Schell on January 31, 1984, in Waupaca, Wisconsin.
After high school, he went on to earn a welding certificate. The skills he learned were utilized at Waupaca Foundry, Mayville Engineering and Oshkosh Truck.
Tony enjoyed boating on the Fox River and Lake Winnebago. He loved grilling, family gatherings and bonfires. He especially treasured time practicing volleyball with Tilly and watching Gabe grow up.
He is survived by his mother, Peggy Schell; father, Darryl (Christy) Borchert; daughter, Tilly Borchert; bonus son, Gabe Ditscheit; grandmother, Carol Schell, grandfather, Rolland Borchert as well as many other family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Darlene Borchert; grandfather, Ronald Schell; brother, Andy Borchert; and cousin, Larry Winker.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Amanda Button for all of her support and being by their side during this difficult time.
Brothers Tony and Andy will be reunited together side by side.
