Combined Locks
Died unexpectedly Friday, May 21, 2004 in Phoenix, Arizona at the age of 20. Troy was born March 17, 1984, in Appleton. Beloved son of Gregory Kaufman , Appleton and Lisa Kaufman, Combined Locks. Troy attended Kimberly High School and was looking forward to attending Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix.
Troy enjoyed spending time outdoors, riding his motocross bike and four wheeler. He was talented in auto repair, computers and electronics. TNT remembered.
In addition to his parents, Troy is further survived by Lisa's special friend, Todd Biesterveld, Little Chute; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Vivian Kaufman, Appleton; maternal grandparents, Roger J. and Lucille Hietpas, Combined Locks; and great grandmother, Gertrude Hietpas, Kaukauna. Troy is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be missed by his treasured Shih Tzu, Pepper and his pet snake.
Troy was preceded in death by cousins: Allison and Jamie Heegeman and Cara Hietpas.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2004 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks, with Rev. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Visitation at the church is from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Mass. Jennifer O'Connell with Affordable Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
