Trudy Ann Holtz-Sitter-Eckstein, age 57, passed away peacefully Friday, August 8, 2008, at home, surrounded by the love of her family. Trudy was born March 13, 1951 to John R. and Caroline (Hansen) Holtz. She enjoyed shopping, motorcycling and boating. Trudy was a fun lady, who loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived and will be missed by her husband, Alan E. Eckstein of Omro; her three children, Jackie L. Sitter of Oshkosh, Donald M. Sitter, Jr. of Oshkosh, and Travis A. Eckstein of Omro; four grandchildren, Matthew Sitter, Zachary Sitter, Bret Sitter, and Alexandria Sitter; two brothers, Robbie Holtz of OK, and David Holtz of AR; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Caroline Holtz and sister, Karen Paulik.

A memorial service honoring Trudy's life will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 400 N. Sawyer St., Oshkosh, on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., there will be a time for visitation from 12:00 noon until the time of the service, and a luncheon will follow.
