Victor L. Bode Sr. passed away on December 15, 2011 at the King Veterans Home in Waupaca. He was born at home next to the Snake River in Twin Falls, Idaho on July 22, 1934 the son of Hilma (Petersen) and Albert Bode. Victor was a carpenter all his life, after serving in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean War (1952-1955). He was united in marriage to Doris A. Lindemer on April 2, 1971.
Vic and Dody raised 10 children together: Steven (deceased), Cheri (deceased), Gary (Conny), Ruth, Carol (Mike), Scott, Brooke, Tom, and Victor (Connie). He had 27 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Victor's wife of 34 years preceded him in death. Victor will always be remembered for his love of nature, and his encyclopedic memory. Private family services will be held.
