Virginia Frederick, age 95, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021 in Omro, Wisconsin surrounded by family. She is survived by daughters Susan LaKosh (Rudy) of Omro, Wisconsin and Barbara Livingston (David) of Mobile, Alabama, granddaughters Carrie Livingston and Erin Schultz (Donnie), and many relatives and long-time friends. Virginia was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Clyde C Sponaugle of Wheeling, West Virginia and Vaughna Davidson Sponaugle of Ecum Secum, Nova Scotia, Canada. She enjoyed traveling, living in Japan and Germany as an Air Force wife, and taking many trips after her retirement including Africa, China, Spain and Canada. Duplicate bridge was her favorite hobby, and she was still earning masters points in her 90's. She lived in the St. Louis, Missouri area for 60 years, worked as Personnel Manager at Petrolite Corporation, and was active in the Manchester United Methodist Church. She moved to Omro in 2020 to be near her daughter. The family would like to thank the staff at Country Villa of Omro for their loving care.
