William Lynn "Bill" Delabrue Sr., age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by love at his Oshkosh home on February 19, 2018. Bill was born January 16, 1955 to Laurine Delabrue and William Lynn Brown. Growing up, Ethal Luebke and Albert Leubke played an important role, seeing him into adulthood and finally, the US Army in 1974.
Bill's hobbies included both playing and listening to music, watching the Bears on Sunday, going for bike rides, and watching zombie movies. He liked to surround himself with plants and Beatles music.
Bill is preceded in death by both sets of his parents: Laurine and William, and Ethal and Albert.
He is survived by his children: William (Jo) Delabrue, Jr., Deanna (Michael) Bean, Sean Delabrue, and Amanda Delabrue, grandchildren: Brittany Delabrue, Samantha (Jonathan) Strickland, Bryce Delabrue, Dylan Bean, Gabe Bean, Lucienna Delabrue, Olivyr Delabrue, John Caleb Orr, great-grandchild: Amanda Strickland, as well as his long-time girlfriend, Pam Hanson.
Bill will be greatly missed by those who love him.
A visitation for Bill will be held at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation Services on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with military honors to conclude the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
